# Shopify Integration

Sync Shopify customers, orders, and checkout events into Humanic.

Humanic connects to your Shopify store so customer, order, and checkout data can power campaigns. Setup runs in **Humanic → Integrations → Shopify**. You create a custom app in Shopify (Dev Dashboard), then install it on your store and finish the connection in Humanic.

You send campaigns from Humanic — not from Shopify admin. When you configure the app, **do not** embed it in Shopify admin.

### What you get

* Customer contacts synced from Shopify
* Order and checkout events you can use for campaigns (abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back)
* Product context for personalised email copy

### Setup (in Humanic)

Open **Integrations → Shopify** and follow the in-app wizard. The steps are:

1. **Create an app** in Shopify’s [Dev Dashboard](https://dev.shopify.com/dashboard) (name it Humanic or similar).
2. **Configure and release a version** — paste the Humanic app URL (`https://app.humanic.ai/login/`), deselect **Embed app in Shopify admin**, add the required scopes, then **Release**.
3. **Request data access** in the [Partner Dashboard](https://partners.shopify.com) (protected customer data, reason: marketing or advertising, plus the protected fields the wizard lists).
4. **Install the app** on your store.
5. **Connect** in Humanic with your store domain and the app credentials from the wizard.

The wizard shows the exact scopes and protected-field reasons to copy. Use those instead of guessing.

### After you connect

Build and send campaigns in Humanic using Shopify contacts and events. Domain setup still happens in Humanic ([Domain Setup](/humanic/getting-started-with-humanic/domain-setup.md)).
