Generating a campaign

With Humanic you can generate a single email and an entire campaign

Every campaign in Humanic starts with a prompt. There are no workflow builders to configure, no drag-and-drop templates to assemble, and no complex setup required. You describe what you want in plain language — and Humanic builds it.

Single email or full campaign — your choice

Humanic handles both from the same prompt box.

If you ask for a single email, it generates one. If you ask for a full campaign sequence, it produces multiple emails with delays between them — a complete, ready-to-send flow built from a single instruction.

You can adjust the delay between emails at any time, either by typing a follow-up prompt ("change the delay between email two and three to 3 days") or by clicking the delay button directly in the campaign view.

How to write a strong prompt

The quality of your campaign output is directly tied to the quality of your prompt. A vague prompt produces a generic email. A specific, well-structured prompt produces something that's already close to send-ready.

Aim to write at least half a page for your initial prompt. A strong prompt covers four things:

Goal — what should this campaign achieve? Examples: drive feature adoption, re-engage inactive users, promote a new product launch, welcome new subscribers.

Audience — who is receiving it? Be specific about their stage, behavior, or segment. "New users who haven't completed onboarding" is more useful than "new users."

Context — include your business URL so Humanic can pull brand context, colors, and copy direction from your site. Add any campaign-specific details the AI should know.

Tone and design preferences — if you have strong preferences about how the email should look and feel, say so upfront. It's faster than correcting it later.

Expect to iterate

Your first generation is a starting point. Plan for 8 to 10 prompt exchanges to refine the content, tone, structure, and design to the standard you want. This is normal — and it's much faster than building the same email manually.

Each follow-up prompt sharpens the output. Keep corrections specific: "make the subject line more urgent," "shorten the body to two paragraphs," "use a blue CTA button instead of black."

Choosing the right AI model

Humanic supports multiple AI models for email generation. The Claude Sonnet series consistently outperforms other model families — including Google Gemini and OpenAI — for generating well-structured, on-brand email content.

Claude Sonnet 4 and Sonnet 4.5 both work well. Sonnet 4.5 takes slightly longer to generate but produces noticeably better layout and visual structure. For campaigns where design quality matters, Sonnet 4.5 is the recommended choice.

Frequently asked questions

Can I generate a campaign without connecting my data?

Yes. You can generate and preview campaigns in Humanic without a connected data source. You will need a verified domain and audience to activate and send.

How many emails can a campaign sequence include?

There is no hard limit. You can generate sequences of any length. For most lifecycle campaigns, three to five emails is a practical starting point.

Can I edit individual emails in a campaign after generating them?

Yes — use micro-editing to make targeted changes to specific emails within a campaign without regenerating the entire sequence.
