Sending Cold Emails with Google

When it comes to free Gmail accounts, Google enforces strict limits and usage policies. This is largely because the company wants to discourage cold emailing through its free accounts.

Google’s algorithms are highly sophisticated and can easily detect how accounts are being used. In contrast, rules for Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) accounts are much more flexible. For that reason, using a Workspace or even a Microsoft account is generally recommended for outreach.

However, this challenge isn’t unique to Google. Email deliverability and sending restrictions are common across the industry, so even if you rely on other cold email platforms or send messages manually, similar issues are likely to arise.
